Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Principal Data Scientist to lead AI and data science platform development for clinical research and trial optimization. You will build scalable AI tools, collaborate with clinical scientists, and deploy production-grade ML on AWS.

Strong communication of insights to multi-disciplinary teams is essential. The role requires deep expertise in ML/DL, Python or R, and a track record of deploying models in production within biopharma or similar regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 12+ years in data science with significant software development experience using Python or R.
• Expertise in machine learning and deep learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience deploying models in production with CI/CD and containerization (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable AI tools and data science platform components.
• Collaborate with clinical scientists, biostatisticians, and data managers to design and deploy data-driven solutions.
