Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Principal Software Engineer in Networking for the DGX Cloud division. You will design and build software-defined network infrastructure using EVPN and BGP, lead code reviews, and collaborate with underlay/overlay teams to deliver multi-tenant networking solutions.

You have a strong track record (15+ years) in networking, a BS in CS/EE, and the ability to write resilient networking software across languages.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years in networking with systems and software engineering focus.
Extensive experience with BGP, EVPN, IP subnetting, and overlay networking.
Ability to write software to solve networking problems in any language.
Outstanding problem-solving and collaboration abilities; cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

Designing and building world-class software-defined networking infrastructure (EVPN/BGP).
Contributing to software development processes with attention to detail.
Performing code reviews to ensure reliable feature implementation.
Collaborating with underlay/overlay teams to deliver multi-tenant networking solutions.
Defining networking strategies to support NVIDIA's technologies.
Driving ambitious projects while maintaining high quality standards.
