Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer (SDN) to advance software-defined networking for global GPU cloud infrastructure. You Build and operate secure, programmable cloud networking using Open vSwitch, OVN, Kubernetes, C, and Go.

You will mentor colleagues and drive production improvements across NGN/GeForce NOW, including large-scale testing and incident response. With a BS or MS in CS/CE and 12+ years of production software experience in C and Go, you will shape

Qualifications

12+ years producing production software in C and Go.
Strong background in Open vSwitch and OVN with OpenFlow knowledge.
Production Kubernetes networking experience and CI/CD exposure.
Solid Linux networking fundamentals and security awareness.
Experience with distributed systems and scalable services.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve multi-tenant control-plane and data-plane architecture.
Lead design reviews, production-readiness, and engineering quality improvements.
Develop Kubernetes networking components and plugins.
Translate requirements into secure, scalable services and APIs.
Drive integration of Open vSwitch/OVN across large-scale production networks.
Create automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident analysis with data-driven debugging.
Define reliability, performance, and security objectives for networks.
