Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in SRE/Network roles.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Proficient with Python, Bash, Go, or Rust scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and support scalable network solutions.
• Mentor team members and drive code quality standards.
• Define SLOs for Akamai Connected Cloud network.
• Develop automation tools and collaborate with devs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
