Job summary

Black Box is seeking an experienced Deployment/Support Engineer to troubleshoot complex networking and security technologies from major OEMs, with a focus on data center virtualization and storage. You will consult with customers, document issues, and provide client training while collaborating with account managers to identify upsell opportunities.

The role requires extensive experience in technology services, strong problem-solving abilities, and a continuous learning mindset to expand product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 12+ years' experience as a Deployment, support Engineer, with a background in Technology Services industries.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex networking and security technologies from multiple OEMs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper/HPE/Aruba).
• Work with customers to consult on and troubleshoot high-difficulty issues and maintain an accurate issue list.
• Provide systems administration training to clients.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities during projects.
• Assist support technicians in troubleshooting client installations.
• Continuously develop and expand knowledge through learning channels to cover products and services.
