Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Principal Network Engineer to own the architecture and deployment of network infrastructure across hyperscale data center campuses. You will lead fiber, cabling, and OT networks, setting technical standards and guiding solutions from planning through operations.

You will collaborate with Product, Construction, Operations and customers to ensure scalable, resilient, and secure networks for the world’s largest cloud and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering or fiber infrastructure.
• Experience designing, deploying and maintaining large-scale network infrastructure.
• Ability to guide projects through planning, design, construction, commissioning and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network architecture standards for hyperscale campuses.
• Create network design drawings, rack elevations, and site documentation.
• Define standards for security, IoT, BMS, and EPMS networks.
• Partner with customers to translate connectivity requirements into Fleet design standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend reliable, scalable solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices and design guidelines across the portfolio.
• Support master planning to scale network infrastructure with campus growth.
• Provide technical leadership during planning, design, construction, commissioning and operations.
