Job summary

Oracle Nashville seeks a senior network engineer to design and validate advanced network systems for scalable data center and cloud environments. You will lead firmware upgrades, drive automation modules, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliability and deployment readiness.

Responsibilities include incident response, RCA documentation, and mentoring junior engineers while partnering with vendors on hardware and software requirements.

Qualifications

• Deep experience designing large-scale leaf-spine and multi-fabric data center networks.
• Hands-on with Ethernet switching, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, IP addressing, routing scale and QoS.
• Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, APIs, Git, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Designs and validates large-scale network systems for data centers and cloud environments.
• Lead firmware upgrades, controlled network changes, and collaboration with operations teams.
• Develop automation modules for testing, monitoring, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on hardware, firmware, and cloud requirements.
• Mentor engineers and drive incident response and RCA documentation.
