Job summary

Oracle in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced network design and validation engineer to design advanced network fabrics for large-scale enterprise, data center, or cloud environments. You’ll lead automation, monitoring, and testing efforts, drive RCA improvements, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure readiness and compliance before production.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to incident response playbooks, and develop scalable solutions to optimize performance

Qualifications

• Designs and develops advanced network and monitoring systems for large-scale enterprise, data center or cloud environments.
• Develops moderately complex test cases and strategies, leading testing protocols and RCA improvements.
• Mentors junior engineers and provides SME guidance on technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Network Design, Development, and Validation: designs and builds network fabric and systems for large-scale environments.
• Automation and Scripting: builds modules within automation frameworks and writes advanced scripts to automate tasks.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: develops test cases and leads testing practices for reliability and compliance.
• Monitoring and Reliability: maintains dashboards, telemetry, and alerting mechanisms to meet SLOs.
• Cross-Team Collaboration and Leadership: mentors peers and collaborates with vendors and internal teams.
