The Global Comms & Corporate Marketing team seeks a Principal Motion & Graphic Designer to create engaging motion graphics for our global campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of graphic design, typography, and motion design principles, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro), with knowledge of 3D a plus. They should be able to take concepts from initial brief to final execution.

This is a remote role open to US locations

• Create motion graphics for marketing and communication materials, including digital campaigns, social media, video series, and corporate events.

• Manage account activities, traffic coordination, quality assurance, and budgets.

• Collaborate with team members to understand needs and translate them into compelling graphics.

• Manage third-party design agencies and support business objectives.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or motion design (or Associate's Degree with 8+ years or Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years of agency/in-house experience in motion design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with video editing, color grading, sound design, and animation.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality visual creation.
• Experience in graphic print design, 3D animation, and understanding of brand style guides; healthcare industry or agency experience is advantageous.

Salary range for U.S. locations (excluding PR): $107,200 - $160,800. This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The salary range applies across the U.S., excluding Puerto Rico and certain California locations, and may vary based on experience, education, market, and location. Benefits for employees working 20+ hours/week include health, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability leave, dependent care, tuition assistance, and well-being programs.
