The Global Comms & Corporate Marketing team seeks a Principal Motion & Graphic Designer to create engaging and visually stunning motion graphics for our global campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of graphic design, typography, and motion principles, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Premiere Pro (knowledge of 3D is a plus). They should be able to take concepts from initial brief to final execution.

This is a remote role open to US locations.

• Create motion graphics for marketing and communication materials, including digital campaigns, social media, video series, and corporate events.
• Manage account activities, traffic coordination, quality assurance, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with team members to understand needs and translate them into strategic graphics.
• Manage third-party design agencies and support business objectives.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or motion design (or Associate’s Degree with 8+ years or Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years of agency/in-house motion design experience.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for high-quality visuals.
• Experience in graphic design print, 3D animation, and understanding of brand style guides. Healthcare industry or agency experience is advantageous.

Benefits & Compensation

Medtronic offers competitive salary and benefits, supporting employees at all life stages. Salary range for US (excluding PR): $107,200 - $160,800. This role is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability leave, tuition reimbursement, and well-being programs.
