The Global Comms & Corporate Marketing team seeks a Principal Motion & Graphic Designer to create engaging, visually stunning motion graphics for our global campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of graphic design, typography, and motion design principles, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro), and knowledge of 3D is a plus. They should be able to take concepts from initial brief to final execution.

This is a remote role open to US locations

• Create motion graphics for marketing and communication materials, including digital campaigns, social media posts, video series, and corporate events.
• Manage account activities, traffic coordination, quality assurance, and budget.
• Collaborate with team members to understand needs and translate them into compelling graphics.
• Manage third-party design agencies or consult to support business objectives.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or motion design (or Associate's Degree with 8+ years, or Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years of agency/in-house experience in motion design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with video animation, editing, color grading, and sound design.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality visual experiences.
• Experience in graphic design print, 3D animation, understanding of brand style guides, and healthcare industry or agency experience is advantageous.

Salary range in the US (excluding PR): $107,200 - $160,800.

This role is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The salary range is applicable across the US, excluding Puerto Rico and certain California locations, and may vary based on experience, education, market, and location. Benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability leave, tuition assistance, well-being programs, and more.

Additional benefits for employees working 20+ hours/week include incentive plans, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, stock purchase plan, and others.
