Job summary

Arcfield seeks an on-site Principal Model-Based Systems Engineer in St. Louis to lead model management across a federated SysML environment using Teamwork Cloud.

You will act as SME, maintain multiple classification-level models, and ensure consistent usage across hundreds of projects, enabling efficient MBSE workflows. Qualified candidates have a systems engineering background with tool experience (SysML, NoMagic, MagicDraw, Cameo, IBM Rhapsody) and can obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience with modeling tools such as NoMagic, MagicDraw, Cameo, CATIA, SysML, UPDM, or IBM Rhapsody.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the model management SME for the Teamwork Cloud environment.
• Administer and maintain a federated set of SysML models across classification levels.
• Ensure up-to-date, consistent project usage across hundreds of projects using Teamwork Cloud.
• Troubleshoot Cameo Systems Modeler and Teamwork Cloud environments with minimal disruption.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions for environment access.
• Implement and maintain standard workflows, processes, and templates for SysML modeling.
• Collaborate with system architects, project teams and IT support to resolve integration challenges.

• Troubleshoot issues with the Cameo Systems Modeler tool and the Teamwork Cloud environment, ensuring minimal disruption to engineering processes.
• Oversee and manage user accounts, access permissions, and all other aspects of environment access administration.
• Implement and maintain standard workflows, processes, and templates for SysML modeling, ensuring compliance with organizational and program-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with system architects, project teams, and IT support staff to resolve configuration, deployment, and integration challenges.

Qualifications

• BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 (Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
