Responsibilities

• Define and champion the multi-year technical roadmap for search serving and retrieval.
• Lead cross-team initiatives without direct reporting lines and influence peers across multiple teams.
• Own the strategy for agentic search and retrieval architecture including personalized indexes and multi-step pipelines.
• Set production ML serving standards, cost discipline, and reliability across the search stack.
• Mentor senior engineers toward principal-level impact and foster engineering craft.
