Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer for the Signals & Measurement team. You will design and scale ML systems across the signal lifecycle, shaping monetization strategies with ranking and measurement models.

You will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to set ML direction, stay current with technology, and drive scalable, cost-conscious solutions that impact Snap's advertising and product experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
11+ years of industry machine learning experience.
Experience shipping performant and scalable ML models for ranking/recommendation.
Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or related frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design and develop ML systems across the signal lifecycle (acquisition, curation, matching, attribution, causal measurement).
Design, implement, and scale ML models to support monetization strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ML strategies with objectives.
Stay up-to-date with ML tech and apply to complex problems.
Provide technical direction to uplift ML across the organization.
Collaborate with leadership to improve the ML tech stack and performance.
Understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, deliver innovative solutions.
Advocate for availability, scalability, and cost management.
