Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join the Platform Integrity Engineering team. You will design, implement, and scale ML models to protect Snapchatters, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align ML strategies with company objectives.

You will lead and mentor teams, stay at the forefront of ML technology, and drive scalable, cost-efficient solutions that improve content quality and safety across Snap’s global products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in computer science, math, statistics, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years post-Bachelor ML experience; or Master’s with 8+ years; or PhD with 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale ML models and systems to protect users and enforce content policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set ML strategies aligned with company goals.
• Stay updated on ML tech and apply to solve complex problems.
• Provide technical direction to influence the ML community across Snap.
