Snap Inc. is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join the Platform Integrity Engineering team.

You will design, train, and scale ML models to detect harmful content and automate moderation, working with cross-functional teams to align ML strategies with company goals. The role requires deep expertise in ML, DL, CV, NLP, and LLMs/VLMs, with a strong track record of leading technically complex initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong background in machine learning, DL, CV, NLP, and LLMs/VLMs for Trust & Safety.
• Experience leading a team delivering online ML models with high precision.
• Ability to design, train, and optimize advanced ML models.
• Excellent programming and software design skills.
• Willingness to learn new concepts and technology.
• Proven ability to solve ambiguous problems and drive complex initiatives.
• Strong collaboration and mentorship capabilities.
