Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Products and Services team, responsible for design and ongoing innovation within our rapidly expanding data center footprint. You will own resilient, cost-effective mechanical systems and drive improvements for world-class uptime across data centers.

You will collaborate with internal and external teams, suppliers and contractors to develop new data center product solutions, perform root-cause analyses, and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and submittal documents.

Responsibilities

• Define and design liquid cooling equipment and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal and external ecosystem partners to design and develop new data center product solutions.
• Support field engineering and data center operation teams for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Leverage scale through standardization and modularization of data center products.
• Maintain and develop technical design procedures for piping and pipe support analysis.
• Provide SME guidance to peers and management.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
