Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior mechanical engineering leader to drive the architecture and development of complex mechanical systems for data center and cloud infrastructure. You will guide reliability testing, tool selection, and collaboration with operations and suppliers to enable scalable production.

You will mentor engineers, set strategic direction for next-generation server designs, and ensure manufacturability and performance through advanced CAD, FEA, and CFD practices.

Responsibilities

• Leads and sets direction for the architectural design and development of highly complex electronic parts, components, board layout and mechanical systems, ensuring cutting-edge reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
• Establishes long-term mechanical design strategies for next-generation server architectures, defining cooling methodologies and mechanical frameworks from concept to production.
• Contributes to the technical vision and sets best practices for the use of advanced CAD tools (e.g., ProE, SolidWorks), mentoring cross-functional teams in refining inventive mechanical solutions.
• Defines and oversees the mechanical design of electronics enclosures and embedded systems, ensuring alignment with hardware strategies and system requirements.
