Oracle is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems for data center hardware. You will mentor cross-functional teams, set best practices for CAD workflows, and define cooling and enclosure strategies from concept to production.

You will contribute to reliability testing, predictive analytics, and collaboration with suppliers to drive cost-effective production.

Aufgaben

• Leads the architectural design and development of highly complex electronic parts, components, board layout and board planning, and mechanical systems for reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
• Drives long-term mechanical design strategies for next-generation server architectures, defining cooling methods and mechanical frameworks from concept to production.
• Mentors cross-functional teams in refining innovative mechanical solutions using CAD tools (e.g., ProE, SolidWorks).
• Oversees mechanical design of electronics enclosures and embedded systems aligned with hardware strategies and system-level requirements.
• Establishes best practices for mechanical reliability assessments and FEA to proactively address challenges.
• Advises on root cause analysis and corrective actions across cross-functional teams.
• Defines manufacturing and assembly strategies to enhance quality, scalability and cost-efficiency, coordinating with Operations and external manufacturers.
• Defines industry-leading reliability and qualification protocols for mechanical components and systems in data center and cloud environments.
