  • Innovate and Create: Dive into the design and development of intricate mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, and components for our electro-mechanical medical devices. Your designs will meet high-performance objectives while ensuring safety and reliability.

  • Master the Materials: Bring your expertise in plastics injection molding, sheet metal, and casting part designs to the table. Your strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) will help us optimize our processes.

  • Analyze Like a Pro: Conduct in-depth mechanical analyses, including tolerance, load, fatigue life, and thermal modeling. Your analytical skills will ensure our products perform consistently in safety-critical applications.

  • Collaborate and Integrate: Work closely with electrical and consumable components to ensure seamless integration. You’ll be the glue that holds our designs together!

  • Test and Validate: Define testing protocols and conduct necessary validations to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our designs. Your commitment to quality will shine through in every product we launch.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years.

  • Experience: A proven track record in electro-mechanical hardware development, ideally in highly regulated industries (think aircraft, automotive, medical device, or defense).

  • Full Lifecycle Knowledge: You’ve navigated the entire product lifecycle, from concept to post-market handling, and you know what it takes to succeed at each stage.

  • Tooling Know-How: Familiarity with tooling is a plus, and experience as a tool designer will set you apart.

  • CAD Skills: Proficiency in CAD systems for mechanical design and analysis (SolidWorks preferred) is essential.

  • Agile Advantage: Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is a bonus, as we value flexibility and adaptability in our projects.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a knack for resolving competing constraints across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, and marketing functions.
