Job summary

Concurrent Technologies Corporation seeks a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design, development, and implementation of advanced mechanical and aerospace systems for DoD and industrial applications. You will drive innovation, oversee high-level technical work, and mentor staff.

Responsibilities include strategic design, prototype oversight, testing protocols, and collaboration with executives and clients to define requirements and success metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, or Materials Engineering. Master's degree strongly desired.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering with leadership oversight.
• Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD with complex parametric models.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design, and development of mechanical and aerospace systems for mission-critical applications.
• Oversee complex CAD models and manufacturing drawings ensuring GD&T and DoD standards compliance.
• Provide high-level technical oversight, mentoring, and drive business growth through client engagement.
• Mentor engineers across levels, lead technical reviews, and establish best practices.
• Drive business growth through thought leadership, proposals, and strategic client engagement.
