Job summary

RTX in East Hartford, CT, seeks a Test System Architect Engineer I for Pratt & Whitney to develop MBSE-based test models and support digital test planning across engine programs.

The role includes coordinating with MBSE teams, validating models, and ensuring alignment with customer needs, with about 10% travel and a path through the Engineering Development Program for broad technical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM.
• Experience working on a team to solve an engineering problem.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Test System Modeler – Apply Test System Model framework and methodology in Cameo to Engine Programs.
• Work with MBSE discipline team to develop and deploy the Cameo SysML model for Validation & Verification (V&V) processes on the program to serve as the Authoritative Source of Truth for Validation.
• Planning and System Integration activities.
• Collaborate with design and validation engineers to capture all critical system functions and key inputs/outputs in the Test System Model to enable robust test planning and execution.
• Work with Program Validation team to ensure the Test System Model meets the needs of Engineering, Program, and Customer.
• Approximately 10% travel may be required to collaborate with different build and test sites.
