Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Principal Materials Engineer in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) area within the Electrophysiology Therapies group. This role focuses on device-drug combination products, materials selection, and pharmacokinetics for advanced cardiac therapies.

You will help define product strategy, perform benchtop testing, and drive data-driven decisions, with responsibilities spanning development, validation, and regulatory support across GLP-preclinical studies and postmarket

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or materials science
• Experience with device-drug combination products and regulatory requirements
• Familiar with ICH, USP/EP, 21 CFR 211/212/820

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in materials selection and processing for combination devices
• Coordinate lab work and data analysis to support decisions
• Support postmarket design changes and CAPA activities
