Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a highly impactful software engineer to join our macOS team. You will build and scale critical macOS software and services at the heart of our security and identity platform, defining architectural vision and driving technical strategy across teams.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive software development experience with macOS/iOS in Swift.
Deep expertise in macOS/iOS environments including security considerations.
Experience with debugging and performance optimization using Xcode, LLDB, Instruments.
Experience in fast-paced agile environments with CI/CD and automated testing.
Excellent communication and ability to influence technical direction.
Proficiency with AI coding assistants to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

Translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps with PMs and senior architects.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to deliver engineering initiatives.
Lead design and implementation of new macOS features from conception to deployment.
Mentor Staff and Senior engineers and drive architectural standards.
Raise engineering bar with code standards, tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
Create high-quality technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
Work with AI-native engineering practices to accelerate delivery.
Identify emerging trends and prototype solutions for device identity ecosystem.
