Job summary

ThreatLocker is seeking a skilled macOS Developer to build, enhance, and maintain the macOS components of the ThreatLocker endpoint security platform. This role focuses on secure, reliable system-level software supporting Zero Trust across enterprise environments.

The candidate should have strong macOS development experience, familiarity with Apple security frameworks, and a security-first mindset. In-office role based in Orlando, FL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional macOS software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience developing macOS applications, agents, services, system components, or endpoint software.
• Experience working with APIs, local storage, logging, and secure client-server communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex macOS issues involving permissions, networking, System Extensions, and enterprise deployments.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code.
• Experience using Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ThreatLocker’s macOS endpoint agent and components.
• Develop secure macOS services, background processes, System Extensions, Network Extensions, XPC Services, LaunchDaemons, and user apps.
• Integrate macOS functionality with ThreatLocker policy engine, management portal, and cloud platform.
• Maintain real-time policy enforcement for apps, files, storage devices, network activity, and privilege elevation.
• Utilize Apple security technologies including Endpoint Security Framework and Network Extension Framework.
• Build UIs with AppKit and SwiftUI and optimize performance, reliability, and security across macOS versions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to permissions, security frameworks, networking, and deployments.
• Stay updated on macOS platform features and OS changes to ensure compatibility and protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve the ThreatLocker platform.
