Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Chief Information & Digital Office seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to support the Office of the Chief Engineer’s IT Solutions team in Melbourne, FL. This on-site, full-time role focuses on DEE architecture leadership, MBSE, and AI-enabled data capabilities across secure DoD environments.

The candidate will drive architectural decisions, MBSE modeling, and requirements management using DOORS/RTM, with exposure to cloud and on-premise infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• Current U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (or higher).
• 5–8 years in IT Systems Engineering, Architecture, or Defense IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and governance of the DEE architecture end-to-end.
• Define and enforce the DEE framework across stakeholder communities.
• Identify and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into the DEE where appropriate.
• Ensure DEE architecture enables digital engineering and sustainment access throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare program review artifacts and present to government customer.
