Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer for our JUDI program. If you are a software leader with experience influencing others, this might be the role for you!

The Principal IT Software Engineer is responsible for designing technology solutions that ensure resiliency, stability, and operational readiness. This role involves ongoing development, maintenance, support, and architecture of existing systems and platforms. It also provides thought leadership, champions best practices in software architecture, engineering, Agile, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design technology solutions to meet resiliency and operational requirements
• Maintain and support existing systems and platforms
• Provide thought leadership and promote best practices in software engineering, Agile, and DevOps
• Participate in staffing plans and performance reviews
• Own technology solutions, including monitoring, alerting, and technological roadmap communication
• Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security teams
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required
• 8+ years of technical experience in application development or software implementation
• Continuous education on technology trends
• Experience with multiple development and support methodologies
• Leadership skills to manage, influence, and mentor team members
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Technical Skills

• Experience with GCP, AWS, Redshift
• Java full stack development
• Strong database skills with MongoDB, Postgres
• Experience with WS02 and Dynatrace

Physical Demands

All employees must adhere to security responsibilities and compliance requirements.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 depending on experience and skills.
