Job summary

Sonepar Management Group (SMG) is seeking a Principal Architect - Integration Platform & Engineering Lead to guide the enterprise integration strategy and platform modernization in Colorado. Based in Broomfield with up to 20% travel, you will own architecture, governance, and engineering practices for scalable, cloud-native integration solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale integration initiatives.
• Proven track record in architecture governance and platform modernization.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership for the enterprise integration layer.
• Define standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.
• Design scalable, cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven solutions.
• Drive modernization of integration technologies and platform roadmaps.
• Lead engineering teams and oversee SDLC deliverables.
• Partner with product, security, data, and business stakeholders.
• Establish reusable integration patterns and platform services.
• Own platform reliability, observability, and security-by-design.
