Sonepar USA is seeking an accomplished Principal Architect – Integration Platform & Engineering Lead to provide strategic leadership for the enterprise Integration Layer and to drive modernization across the organization.

The role combines architecture governance with hands-on engineering leadership, collaborating with Product, Security, Data Services, and Digital Factory teams to deliver scalable and secure integration solutions. Hybrid work in Broomfield, CO with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years delivering enterprise-scale software & integration solutions.
• 5+ years in technical leadership within integration environments.
• Proven success leading engineering teams and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership for Sonepar's enterprise Integration Layer platform.
• Define enterprise integration standards, reference architectures, governance frameworks.
• Design scalable, cloud-native, API-first, event-driven solutions for critical business capabilities.
• Lead modernization initiatives and ensure secure, scalable integration solutions across the organization.
• Partner with Product Management and security teams to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps.
• Lead architecture reviews, code quality initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across DevOps and platform operations.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive talent development across the organization.
