Position Emphasis :
Act as Instructional Design Team Technical Lead and consultant for the RM-PHTC LMS and registration system.
Provide project management for end-to-end development and delivery of instructional design projects.
Create and maintain/manage courses in an LMS (currently Canvas).
Provide technical assistance and course management for workforce training courses to support facilitators and subject matter experts.
Develop asynchronous learning opportunities.
Create and edit multimedia learning materials.
Provide technical support for webinars and bidirectional video events.
Be an active participant in receiving and giving feedback on team projects.
Learn new technologies and methods using resources available to the RM-PHTC.
Work with stakeholder experts to identify the most appropriate development tools and assist with design and development of online training content and courses.
Train individual or groups of faculty and staff in the use of learning management systems and other applications as needed.
Coordinate instructional activities, including logistics for distance delivery technologies.
Develop, maintain, manage, and update training portals, web assets, and learning management systems.
Follow emerging and innovative practices and research in public health training, education, and instructional design.
Provide technical support to instructors and learners utilizing online training platforms.
Maintain the Center for Public Health Practice, Instructional Design (under CSPH), and CoE websites and other online assets developed and maintained by the Center or RM-PHTC.
Manage LMS Coordinator / Registrar and others as assigned, providing training, supervision, and project direction.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field and at least 3 years of experience.
Multimedia authoring tools including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, Audition, etc.), Camtasia.
Content authoring tools including Captivate, Articulate Storyline and Rise, Genially, H5P, D2L Creator+.
User and Learning Management Systems including Canvas, LearnDash, D2L Brightspace to create and manage online courses, user accounts, course settings, and enrollment options.
Website development, programming, and coding using WordPress, Elementor, HTML, and CSS.
Web conferencing and presentation tools including Zoom.
