Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. is seeking an Information Security leader to partner with IT and business lines. You will research and deploy security tools, advise on secure development, and drive security initiatives across the Reyes Family of Businesses.

You will communicate risk and controls to sponsors and work with engineering on implementations. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experience in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology with 6+ years in IT/security
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST/ISO)
• APIs, automated deployment methods, and API security management

Responsibilities

• Represent the Information Security team with the lines of Business by working with IT
• Research, deploy and integrate security tools and processes to protect information assets
• Advise on secure application development and infrastructure support
• Engage with Reyes Family of Businesses to enhance security controls
• Communicate ideas to leadership, business, Security and IT sponsors
• Participate in security governance activities to evaluate controls
• Perform proof of concept for security features with engineering teams

• Represent the Information Security team with the lines of Business by working with the Information Technology
• Research, recommend, deploy and integrate the security tools and processes needed to protect the information assets and infrastructure
• Advise on secure application development and infrastructure support and drive implementation of recommendations through project teams
• Engage with other teams across the Reyes Family of Businesses to help design and enhance the security controls for Information Technology or Information Security products, services, processes, applications, and systems
• Communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to leadership, business, Security, and IT sponsor and technical resources in language that is appropriate for each group
• Participate in security governance activities as required to evaluate the security controls and protections for new or modified technology business products, services, processes, applications, and systems
• Perform Proof of Concept for Security features working closely with the engineering teams and proactively following through to successful implementation in the product
• Lead and/or assist efforts to scope and architect major change initiatives, leading strategic options analysis & proposing end-to-end solutions & highlighting trade-offs
• Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with various options in complex situations
• Requires expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment
• Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company
• Review ongoing designs of initiatives to ensure they align with strategic roadmaps and target architectures and comply with technology resolve design issues during delivery
• Performs in-depth research on Network/Security industry risks and trends and performs benchmarking analysis to provide enhanced insights and maturity compared to industry peers and competitors
• Negotiating and liaising with different business and technology teams within the organization
• Provide technical expertise and support and act as escalation point for the Security Team, to review and resolve technical issues through completion, including root cause analysis and/or corrective action
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology discipline and with 6 plus years in the IT industry, with experience in Network/Security services or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 9 plus years of the above-stated experience
• Highly familiar with modern network, security, computing, storage, database, virtualization, cloud, and security technologies
• Experience with application management, configuration management, OS baseline configuration, and integration with security tools
• Must have knowledge of current and emerging device architectures and security standard methodologies.
• Candidate should understand APIs, automated deployment methods, and API security management in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency or working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies such as NIST and/or ISO.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support as needed, which may include off

• Master's Degree
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (Router/Switch, Wireless, Load Balancing, OT/IOT, etc.)
