Job summary

TPG seeks an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Principal to join its Cybersecurity team in Fort Worth, TX. This hands-on leadership role focuses on redesigning and maturing the firm’s IGA program, owning strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operations for identity governance across applications and data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in identity governance and administration.
• Hands-on with Saviynt or SailPoint, with migration/greenfield deployment valued.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, RBAC, and segregation of duties.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM).
• Scripting experience (PowerShell/Python) and REST APIs knowledge.
• Effective communication with system owners, data owners, and leadership.
• Experience with third-party advisory firms or partners.
• Ability to balance strategic work with detailed execution.
• Ownership attitude to identify errors and security weaknesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operation of the firm's IGA program.
• Redesign IGA with third-party input to reflect business requirements.
• Lead implementation or migration for the IGA platform, including design and integration.
• Design and operate core IGA processes—joiner/mover/leaver, access reviews, RBAC.
• Liaise between technical and business teams to gather requirements and drive adoption.
• Understand identity structures, especially Microsoft Entra ID, and integrate them.
• Automate lifecycles and governance workflows via scripting and APIs.
• Define metrics and reports to show maturity, audit readiness, and risk reduction.
• Mentor junior team members and share governance expertise.
• Contribute to enterprise identity standards and governance documentation.
