OPSWAT, Inc. is seeking a Principal Hardware Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of the security appliance portfolio.

You will translate market and customer needs into hardware requirements, manage certifications, and oversee cost, supply chain, and go-to-market positioning. This builder role requires close collaboration with hardware engineering, operations, and software product teams to deliver scalable, certified platforms that protect critical infrastructure across

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in product management, with 6+ years in hardware for networked/ appliance-class products.
• Strong understanding of NPI process and gate model from concept to mass production.
• Ability to own BOM cost targets, ASP, margin, and inventory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year hardware roadmap across the appliance portfolio, including SKU strategy and platform consolidation.
• Drive the full NPI lifecycle (Concept → Proto → EVT → DVT → PVT → Mass Production) with clear gate criteria.
• Manage product lifecycle stages end-to-end: GA, sustaining, EOS/EOS, and migration paths.
• Define and publish lifecycle policies (support windows, RMA terms, spare parts SLAs).
• Own appliance P&L levers: BOM cost targets, ASP, margin, and inventory exposure.
