F5 is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to advance low-latency, high-performance applications in a multi-tenant B2B SaaS and self-hosted platform. You will shape forward/reverse proxy development, policy enforcement, and traffic interception across distributed systems.

You will lead architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of AI-assisted development while upholding security and code quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven Go developer with experience in low-latency multi-tenant B2B SaaS.
• Experience in developing forward and reverse proxies is highly desirable.
• Expertise in Go, Python and/or TypeScript, with knowledge of network protocols.
• Hands-on with AI development tools, agentic frameworks and context engineering.
• Knowledge of public API design and LLMS concepts (embeddings, RAG, prompting).
• Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and implementation of low-latency services and APIs.
• Build and refine forward/reverse proxies for performance and security.
• Implement observability and monitoring across services.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, testing, and problem-solving.
• Mentor junior developers and drive architectural decisions.
