Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer for the Sentinel program in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on MTP/ATP ownership, test process development, data analysis, and collaboration across teams.

You will design, implement, and verify GN&C algorithms and software, work with test equipment suppliers, and support technicians in a fast-changing development environment with security clearances required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in STEM with relevant experience specified.
• Experience owning MTP/ATP deliverables for system.
• Experience developing and implementing test processes to ensure performance.
• Experience collaborating with Test Equipment Engineers on factory test equipment.
• US Citizenship and Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Own Manufacturing Test Procedure (MTP) and Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) for top system level and CI items.
• Collaborate on development and maintenance of system and subsystem Acceptance Test Specifications (ATS).
• Ensure system performance through test processes and analyses.
• Perform data analysis of test results and generate reports with pass/fail criteria.
• Train and support test technicians and coordinate factory test equipment/software.
• Coordinate development of factory test tooling and test flows.
• Participate in FRB and FRACAS processes for corrective actions.
• Contribute to design, development, and testing of GN&C algorithms and software.
• Work with OEMs on test equipment procurement and maintenance.
