Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Guidance Navigation Control Engineer for the Sentinel program in Salt Lake City, UT. You will own MTP/ATP and help develop test specifications for system and CI items, while ensuring performance through testing and data analysis.

You will train technicians, coordinate test tooling, and work with OEMs on test equipment. A US citizenship and active Secret clearance are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience.
• Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of experience.
• PhD in STEM with 1 year of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand engineering drawings, process specifications, part lists and technical documents.
• US Citizenship is required and Active/Current Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own Manufacturing Test Procedure (MTP) and Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) for system and CI items.
• Develop and maintain system and subsystem ATS (acceptance test specification).
• Ensure system performance requirements are met through rigorous test processes.
• Perform data analysis of test results and prepare pass/fail reports.
• Train and support test technicians and coordinate factory test equipment/software.
• Coordinate development of factory test tooling, equipment and test flows.
• Participate in FRB/FRACAS and implement corrective actions.
• Design, develop and test algorithms and software for guidance, navigation and control.
• Collaborate with OEMs for test equipment procurement and maintenance.
