Job summary

Gigamon is seeking a Principal Global Success Automation & Solutions Engineer to lead post-sales deployment and optimization of our network visibility and security products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design deployments, and ensure systems meet ISO 27001/CIS/NIST standards for security, while driving automation to improve time to value.

You will guide pilots, tests, and documentation to deliver high-quality deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and deploying network tools with security and scale.
• Strong TCP/IP, L2/L3, IPv4/IPv6 and virtualization experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, OpenStack and cloud platforms.
• Proficient in Python, Java, C and APIs.
• Excellent English communication and cross-geography collaboration.

This role focuses on post-sales deployment and optimization of Gigamon’s network visibility solutions, ensuring positive business outcomes for customers. The Principal Global Success Automation & Solutions Engineer will join a collaborative, innovative team with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, system optimization, and quality delivery. This is an individual contributor role that works closely with cross-functional teams, system architects, and end-user technical teams. What You’ll Do:

• Driving adoption of AI through developing tools for Global Success.
• Lead solution design, deployment, and optimization efforts for Gigamon’s network visibility and security products.Identify deployment alternatives and propose optimized solutions for customers across various industries, including mobile networks, service providers, and enterprises.
• Ensure technical compliance with security standards and policies (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS, NIST), and work with system architects to meet security requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to guide security policy implementation and compliance.
• Automate and streamline post-sales processes to enhance customer experience and accelerate time to value.
• Conduct testing, documentation, and pilot deliveries to ensure high-quality deployment results.

What You’ve Done:

• 10+ years of hands‑on experiencein thedesign, deployment, and managementof network tools and applications, with a focus onsecurity and scalability.
• Strong technical expertise innetwork protocols(TCP/IP, L2/L3, IPv4, IPv6).
• Extensive experience withvirtualization technologies(VMware, Hyper-V) andcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, OpenStack).
• Proficiency inprogramming languages(Python, Java, C) andAPIs.
• Proven track record of leadingtechnical initiativesand collaborating withvirtual teamsacross geographies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science, a related field, orequivalent hands‑on experience.
• Familiarity withsecurity frameworks and cybersecurity standards(ISO 27001/27002, CIS, NIST) is highly desirable.
• Experience withSDKsand additional programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
