Teamified seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead technical direction across two product squads, while staying hands-on in Laravel, Next.js, and cloud environments. You will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and drive scalable platform evolution in a fast-growing remote-friendly setting.

You will influence roadmaps, standards, and best practices, ensuring robust, observable systems across AWS/GCP. This role emphasizes collaboration and technical leadership without direct people

Qualificações

• 8+ years in software engineering, incl. staff/principal/architect in SaaS.
• Deep Laravel backend experience (Laravel10+/PHP8+) or similar stack.
• Strong frontend design/architecture with React/Next.js.
• Experience with scalable, secure cloud infrastructure (AWS + GCP).
• Familiar with event-driven or modular architectures and Kubernetes.
• Strong testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Nice to have: Looker/BigQuery/ML pipelines or distributed system tuning.
• Nice to have: AgentAI architecture experience.

Responsabilidades

• Spend 60–80% hands-on: design, code, review, pair, and debug in Laravel/Next.js and cloud.

• Raise quality by championing shift-left testing and observability.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through reviews and pairing.

AboutTheRole

AsaPrincipalSoftwareEngineeratRosterfy,youarethemostseniorindividualcontributorintheengineeringteam,responsibleforsettingtechnicaldirectionwhilestayingdeeplyhands-on.Youworkacrossourtwoproductsquadsasaforcemultiplier:designingarchitecture,pairingonhardproblems,andunblockingdeliveryoncriticalinitiatives.ReportingtotheHoE,youconnectproductstrategytoimplementationdetail,ensuringtheclient’sv3(event-driven,domain-driven,AI-augmented)isrobust,scalable,andmaintainableacrossourPHP/Laravelbackend,Next.jsfrontend,andAWS/GCPinfrastructure.Youspendasignificantportionofyourtimebuilding(coding,reviewing,debugging,pairing)whilealsoshapingengineeringstandards,architecture,andlong-termplatformevolution.Youdonotmanagepeopledirectly;instead,youleadthroughtechnicalexcellence,influence,andmentoring.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Ownthearchitectureandtechnicaldirectionforcoreplatformdomainsusedbybothsquads(e.g.event-drivenworkflows,modularboundaries,AIcapabilities).
