Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join the Quantitative Research and Investments Technology (QRIT) team in Westlake, TX. The role focuses on designing, building, and supporting a comprehensive systematic portfolio construction and management system.

You will work hands-on with a team of quantitative researchers, software engineers, and developers, applying Python or Java, SQL, and cloud-based technologies on AWS with modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computational field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in financial services or asset management is highly desired.
• Proven experience with Python or Java and micro-services/RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance a Systematic portfolio construction system.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, software engineers, and developers.
• Support and maintain production-grade code with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
