Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a seasoned Principal Full Stack Engineer to build scalable AI capabilities for Wealth. You will partner across business, product, architecture, data, and platform teams to turn priorities into secure, reliable solutions for advisors and clients.

You will mentor engineers, own end-to-end delivery, and drive design discussions, applying modern languages and cloud platforms with a test-first approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of software engineering experience, or a master's with 6+ years.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns for scalable systems.
• Experience with at least one modern language (Python, Node.js, or Java).
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience using GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude).
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and growth mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, embrace feedback, and deliver on commitments.

Principal Full Stack Engineer - AI Technology

We are looking for an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to build scalable AI capabilities for Fidelity Wealth. In this role, you will partner with business, product, architecture, data, and platform teams to turn Wealth priorities into secure, reliable solutions that help advisors work more effectively and improve customer experiences.

• Strong technical judgment and the ability to navigate evolving technology landscapes.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
