The Role

As a Principal Frontend Engineer on the DeFi Yield Gen Platform team, you will develop your skills and collaborate with engineers across Fidelity in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with technical leaders and architects to build a secure crypto yield generation platform using modern software development practices. As a senior team member, you will mentor engineers on best practices for software development.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required
• 8+ years' experience in software engineering
• Strong background with major JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React, etc.
• Familiar with NgRx or other state management patterns
• Skilled in testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress
• Passionate about customer experience and UX design
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Basic understanding of Rust is a plus
• Proficient in databases and SQL
• Ability to build reliable software in unreliable environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like Jenkins
• Critical thinking skills for end-to-end solutions
• Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks
• Ability to work independently and in small agile teams, with a user focus
• Strong analytical and communication skills, multitasking ability
• Participation in code/design reviews, environment strategies, and deployment pipelines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with AWS, cloud platforms, Docker is a plus

The salary range is $85,000-$179,000 per year, depending on responsibilities, location, experience, and other factors. Compensation may include bonuses and benefits such as health care, retirement plans, paid time off, parental leave, charitable matching, and educational assistance.

Our hybrid work model combines onsite and remote work, typically requiring onsite presence every other week.
