Job summary

Q’Apel Medical, Inc is seeking a Principal, FP&A to lead planning, forecasting, and financial analysis within the Finance team in Fremont, CA. You will partner with Accounting, Operations, Marketing, R&D, and Sales to manage reporting, analyze COGS, and support new product innovation.

This hands-on role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on gross margin and profitability optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (MBA preferred but not required).
• 6+ years of FP&A experience including forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience in the Medical Devices industry preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ERP/financial reporting systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in partnership with department heads.
• Consolidate cross-functional forecasts with Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR and others.
• Conduct flux analysis, trend reporting, scenario modeling, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare dashboards and reports that communicate financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
• Support audits and closings; perform ad hoc projects for CFO and Controller.
