Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Fluid Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain fluid systems for nuclear plants. You will own system requirements, create P&ID, and perform thermal-hydraulic analysis to support plant projects.
This hybrid role requires 2 days on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA. You will mentor engineers, lead small teams, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

As a Principal Fluid Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the design development and maintenance of various fluid systems within the nuclear power plant. You will be involved in major projects, whether for operating plant uprates or for the development of our advanced reactors.
A Fluid Systems engineer is the owner of the system requirements, and creates and updates the system specification. The engineer is also responsible for the design, owning the creation and the maintenance of the system P&ID, as well as overseeing the detailed piping design. A Fluid Systems engineer will perform the thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design and analysis tasks.
You will report to the Engineering Manager of Nuclear Process & Power Conversion Systems. This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Township, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Relocation is not provided for this position.
Key Responsibilities:We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
