Archer is seeking a senior finance professional to lead planning and budgeting for a critical engineering program, collaborating with senior management to design, track, and measure the annual operating and financial plan.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance or a related field.
• Experience supporting R&D, engineering, or product development in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, data structures, and systems in a public company.
• Experience with FP&A software tools (Adaptive) and ERP systems (SAP).
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong Excel modeling skills to inform data-based decisions.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and budgeting for a major engineering program, coordinating with executives to design and track the annual financial plan.
• Improve data systems to track performance and deliver clear reporting and insights.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to supply analytical rigor for strategic initiatives.
• Create and monitor KPIs to gauge performance against financial objectives.
• Prepare internal and external exec reports, including board materials and financial close.
• Collaborate on process improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency of financial data analytics.
• Deploy dashboards using BI tools such as Sigma and Claude.
• Maintain strong knowledge of FP&A and ERP systems like Adaptive Planning and SAP.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead planning and budgeting for a critical program in the Engineering organization by collaborating with senior management and business groups to design, track and measure annual operating and financial plan
• Refine data systems and tools to track performance, provide reporting solutions and enhance operational insights
• Collaborate with the business stakeholders to provide analytical rigor and evaluate strategic initiatives
• Create and monitor KPIs to measure performance against key financial objectives
• Create internal & external executive reporting documents including board, financial close and other management presentations
• Partner with other cross functional teams to implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial data analytics
• Deploy data visualization dashboards via BI tools such as Sigma and Claude
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and ERP systems such as Adaptive Planning, SAP etc.

What You Need:

• 10+ years of experience in Finance or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting; MBA strongly preferred
• Experience supporting R&D, Engineering, or Product Development teams in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Finance and accounting processes, data structures and systems in a public company environment
• Experience with FP&A software tools (Adaptive) and ERP systems (SAP)
• Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Strong excel modeling analytical skills to influence data based decisions
• Highly organized with an strong attention to detail

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
