Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst/Sr. Principal Financial Analyst for the Sentinel (GBSD) program in Roy, UT. The role supports the SDS division with cost control, forecasting, and EVM tasks, collaborating with engineering, business, and leadership.

We expect candidates to hold a Bachelor’s (5+ years) or Master’s (3 years) in Finance/Business and to have ERP experience (SAP) and MS Office proficiency. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, cost management, finance, accounting, or related fields.
• 5+ years in business, cost management, finance, financial planning and analysis, or program control.
• MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• U.S. Citizen able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare program financial forecasting and reporting (AOP/LRSP).
• Perform quarterly EAC analyses, ETC variances, MR, and status reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional staff to brief forecasts to leadership.
• Set up cost control systems and monitor costs/schedules on contracts.
• Perform analyses to ensure contracts meet negotiated parameters and government guidelines.
• Execute Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks, including WBS, budget baseline, ETC.
