  • Review and approve major engineering submittals from contractors, such as P&IDs, Plot Plans, and Area Classification Drawings.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant standards (ASME, AGA, AISC, OSHA, ASTM).
  • Deep understanding of Process Piping Design, Materials, Fabrication, and Specifications.
  • Work closely with engineering disciplines and operations to understand processes and improve design safety and reliability.
  • Prioritize safety and long-term serviceability in designs.
  • Assess equipment sizing and application for cost, safety, and reliability.
  • Travel to sites for construction oversight and verification of design intent.
  • Provide construction support, including RFI responses.

Essential education

  • Familiarity with ASME, AISC, OSHA, AGA, ASTM standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Project planning and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license, background check, and drug test required.
