We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an experienced Principal – ERP Architect within our Corporate ITteam to help support our business. As a global-diversified manufacturing company, it’s sometimes hard to explain all the different things we do. We like to say, “we’re the biggest company no one has ever heard of.” We are confident you interact with one of our products in your daily life without knowing it. Whether it’s the mattress you sleep on, the car you drive, the plane you fly on, or the furniture you sit on, our high-quality components are there supporting you. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal – ERP Architect to lead the overall support, optimization, and design of potential capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) platform(s) utilized by our enterprise. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

So, what will you be doing as a Principal – ERP Architect?

  • Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of end-to-end D365 solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and system analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Define and enforce best practices for D365 development, integration, and customization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, as well as compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
  • Serve as Tier 3 support by assisting with resolution of technical issues.
  • Integrate D365 with other Microsoft and third-party systems (e.g., Power Platform, Azure, SharePoint).
  • Lead system performance tuning and optimization efforts.
  • Stay current with Microsoft roadmap and recommend adoption of new features including the incorporation of AI.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, system integration, and data migration.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in Azure services, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills including the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.

Things we consider a plus:

  • Previous experience working in a global and/or manufacturing environment
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert) are highly preferred
