Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Principal Environmental Remediation Engineer to join our Seattle, Bellingham, Wenatchee, Yakima, or Bainbridge Island offices. You will lead environmental due diligence, investigations, and cleanup actions on known or suspected contaminated sites, delivering high‑impact solutions for private and public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering (required).
• PE licensure (required).
• 10+ years of related experience (15+ preferred).
• Knowledge of state and federal cleanup laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead challenging environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Develop work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Mentor and manage junior staff; support career development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, proposals.
