Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Principal Environmental Remediation Engineer to lead environmental investigation and remediation projects across WA.

Based in Seattle, Bellingham, Wenatchee, Yakima, or Bainbridge Island, you will drive due diligence, remedial investigations, and cleanup actions on contaminated sites while mentoring staff and developing client relationships. The role requires a PE license and 10+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for a Master’s in Environmental

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering (required).
• Master’s degree in environmental engineering (preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (required).
• 10+ years related experience (15+ preferred).
• Knowledge of state and federal cleanup laws/regulations (required).
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills (required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client management capability.

Mansioni

• Manage and direct challenging technical projects including investigation/remediation work, budgeting, scheduling, quality, and profitability.
• Evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation approaches, including feasibility studies and remediation design plans.
• Lead work planning, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Oversee remedial pilot tests, system implementation, vendor coordination, permitting, and field supervision.
• Mentor and manage junior staff; support career development and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients, attorneys, and regulators.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, plans, specs, and proposals.
• Occasionally conduct fieldwork including site visits, sampling, drilling oversight, and system operations.
