Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Principal for Environmental Due Diligence, EHS Compliance and Permitting in Blue Bell, PA. The role requires 13+ years of consultancy experience, strong project management, client engagement, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree relevant to the field of consulting (environmental science/engineering/geology).
• Experience: At least 13 years of progressive consultancy experience focusing on environmental due diligence, EHS compliance, and/or air quality.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of EHS regulations, permitting, and Phase I ESA.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams; manage client relationships and develop staff.
• Business Development: Proven ability to develop proposals and win projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison for clients, building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions.
• Oversee projects from initiation to completion within budget and schedule.
• Lead and mentor consultants; foster collaboration and high performance.
• Identify new business opportunities; prepare proposals and support client presentations.
• Stay current on trends and lead thought leadership in environmental consulting.
